The first thing that caught my eye in this week’s ad was Pilgrim’s Pride whole fryers. At $0.79 per lb, I think this is a great steal. Want an even better deal? Well you’re in luck!!! I found a coupon! Go to http://www.pilgrims.com/ and click on the gray banner across the top to print a $1/1 package chicken coupon. A thing to remember, when you print coupons like this is you can hit the back button and usually print it again. Two times is the limit, but two coupons is pretty awesome! I bought a couple chickens like this a few weeks ago from Pick N Save, and they made for a really great dinner. I actually grilled them up with a can of beer, and then used the leftover chicken to make a yummy chicken salad! Pig is limiting this deal to 4 per customer.
Roma Pizza’s are on sale for 7/$10. I think this is a pretty awesome price for frozen pizza, and it’s an Eau Claire, Wisconsin based company to boot! Buy local, and eat pizza! :) Limit 7.
Hot Pockets – 6/$10 limit 6.
Banquet Frozen Entrees – 12/$10 – CHEAP!
7-UP or Dr. Pepper 6 pk ½ liter bottles - $1.89 each (one of the best prices I’ve seen in a while!) limit 4, must buy 4.
Philadelphia Cream Cheese - $0.99 each, limit 3, with coupon from ad and an additional $5 purchase
Lipton/Knorr side dishes (pasta and rice) - $0.99 each – Plus there was a coupon in a previous paper for $0.50/2, so if you buy two, the price would be $0.74 each! :)
Oscar Mayer Lunchables – 10/$10!
So, is this all the deals that are in the ad? No way! The ad this week is packed full of great deals, so make sure you check out the flyer! Also remember that adding coupons to these sales is the best way to pay bottom dollar. Where can you find what coupons are available? I usually check a coupon database. This is a searchable list of almost all the coupons currently available. If you search for a coupon, the database will generate a short list of available coupons, and tell you the source. If it is a printable coupon, it will show you a link, if it is not a printable, it will list the paper and insert it came from. Here’s a link to a coupon database I frequent :) http://bargainbriana.com/coupon-database
Also, don’t forget that tomorrow is Double Double Daze at Pick N Save, which means if you make a $25 minimum purchase, you can double up to 10 coupons up to $1.00 in value! The limit is usually 5.
What great deals have YOU found this week?
Sharing a question I got via FB:
ReplyDeletePenny asks "Can you actually use a $1.00 coupon at pic and save tomorrow and get $2.00 off???? Does the 25.00 before the coupons are taken off???? Thanks in advance for your answers."
Answer:
no problem Penny! Yep! they will double up to $1.00, the $25 is before coupons, so you can get out pretty cheap! Double Daze is Wednesdays, they are also doing Saturdays for the foreseeable future. The normal limit is 5 coupons, Tomorrow they are allowing 10. Hint: The machine doubles the first 10 (or 5) coupons, so stack your higher coupons on the top of the stack you hand the cashier, so the higher value comes off first. If your first coupon is $.50, that will double, and you may lose out on a $1.00 coupon doubling if it is on the bottom of the stack. :)
The coke liters are .68 limit 4 as well
ReplyDeleteMissed the cream cheese.. I will have to go back
This week has some excellent specials.
Question: These coupon programs that make you download their "printer program" why? Example
the chicken coupon above forces you to download their printing program why is this? and is there any way around it?
Hey Robyn! Just a heads up, this ad starts tomorrow, I should have mentioned that :) Yep, the coke 2 liter deal was a great one, I got that last week too. So, grab the cream cheese deal tomorrow, not today. (but there is still time to get the coke deal mentioned above if you're shopping today! Grab last week's flyer for the coupon, or check the rack by the front of the store! Sometimes cashiers will be nice, and scan the register copy of the ad, ask and see!) :) Let me know if you find any other great deals! :)
ReplyDeleteabout the coupon printers. Is there a way around it? I don't think so. I'll check around, but it's pretty much required. I have about three different printers downloaded, all from reputable coupon sites, and my anti virus is up to date, so I wasn't worried about downloading it. I didn't have to download anything to print the chicken coupon which means I already have the driver installed on my computer. I'll do some googling to see if we can find a way around it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteNo Problem :)! Back to the coupon printer drivers - here is what I think I have figured out. This software is meant to read your computer IP address in order to allow you to print. This allows the company to limit the number of prints available, either to you, or to the community as a whole. Lets say we find a deal that gets you free pasta with a sale and a double coupon. If the websites put their coupons up on the page to allow prints, we could print however many coupons we wanted, and they would have no control over the amount of coupons that are redeemed - and they'd have to reimburse. With this limiting software, they can limit the number of copies you can print per computer, usually two, and how many can be printed overall. It's always a good idea to only download from reputable coupon companies, I have SmartSource, Bricks, and RedPlum.
ReplyDeleteI have found companies that post their coupons as PDF's. This allows you to print as many coupons as you want. Scotch tape is one of those companies. :)
Thank you for clarifying. My main concern was that it would bog down my browser and give me pop up ads.
ReplyDeleteNo problem! They either don't have any pop ups, or my pop up blocker catches them all. :) I think the main reason is to limit prints. :)
